SO many memories, all of them good.
My dad and his buddy use to throw us kids (6 of us? 7?) in the back of the pick-up and take us to the drive-in. Babysitting, daddy-50s-style. It was wonderful. A bunch of swings, teeter-totters, gravel that hurt if you fell down during tag games -- and bugs, BILLIONS of dive-bombing, blinking, buzzing, terrorizing bugs. We'd scream and scream.
Oh. And the movie going on in the background of course. :)
